Five people met for the match at the Twin Cities Rifle Club today Saturday, October 2, 2021. The weather was fantastic with cool fall temperatures. Winds were VERY tricky for most of the match on a 34 T course. Although they never got much more than 3 mph at pellet level, they switched direction constantly and were often blowing in different directions and speeds on the lanes.
Coffee and doughnuts greeted arrivals, but we had no takers until after the match. ( nobody fell for my attempt to pump them up with sugar and caffine before shooting)
We all struggled today, but nobody was disappointed in the workout.
We learned from a new attendee that we need to place target cards every 5 yards for the Hunter shooters & we’ll be doing that going forward.
