Paul Porch was the match director for the 2018 AAFTA national Pistol Championship. He put together a difficult pistol course for the competitors and Tyler Patner shot high score, only missing two shots all day in Limited Pistol. Shootoffs were needed to determine the top five trophy spots in Hunter Pistol with Mike Norris coming out ahead of Bob Dye in a very exciting shootoff.
While not a recognized AAFTA division, Keo and John shot hands only pistol and Leo edged John out by a couple of points.
