Today we held our second match of the year in Mount Pleasant, on Chris Berry’s property.
The weather was at least in the mid-70’s and it was sunny. We had four new shooters join us: Riley, Brandon,
Devin and Philip. Brandon won a Ennice Nationals shirt for his performance at his first match.
We held a new shooter’s orientation where we went over the basic rules of field target. Joe discussed hunter,
Chris and Mark talked about WFTF, and Will introduced the shooters to Open division and demonstrated the
standing and kneeling positions. This program was helpful to both the new and seasoned shooters and we
should continue with these mini-clinics in the future.
John took came in with the top score in Hunter PCP even though he was behind a group that didn’t always reset
its targets (sorry John!). There was a thrilling shoot-off for second place between Eric and Rodney .
Joe, for the second match in a row, took top honors in Hunter Piston. Will scored (another) 58 for top score in
the match and the Open win, and Chris and Jimmy too first place in WFTF and Unlimited, respectively.
